Q: What makes Ultra X-Press different?

A: There are four main points that make us different.

• Colour - All of our jobs come standard with full colour on both sides with the option of varnish at no cost. Many of our competitors print full colour only on one side with one colour on the other and varnish is an extra charge.
  
  
• Stock - All of our standard run jobs are printed on 12 point Cornwall cardstock coated on both sides. Other places use only an 8 or 10 point cardstock and in many cases are coated only on one side or not all.
  
  
• More for less - With our standard full colour front and back run you receive 2500 pieces while many of our competitors give you only 1000 or 2000 pieces at the same price and on a thinner, flimsier 8 or 10 point stock.
  
  
• Speed - You get a minimum three day turnaround time on all of our standard jobs at no extra cost. We always print twice a week whether you’re printing full colour on both sides or just one. And because we offer a superior quality product compared to others it is impossible for us to sacrifice quality for speed.

Q: Do you only print card stock flyers and cards?

A: No! Ultra X-Press prints anything; from flyers and business cards to brochures, letter head, envelopes, posters and even coasters. Soon to be added to our printing menu – stickers!

Q: Why can’t I order less than 2500 cards?

A: Ultra X-Press uses gang run printing to make sure you get the lowest price. The more products printed at one time, the more you save. If you absolutely need less than 2500 units, we offer digitally printed cards in all sizes, with quantities from 100 for paper stock and 500 for card stock.

Q: Are there different options for card stock?

A: Definitely. We print on all stocks. The price list shows pricing for 12pt coated Cornwall, which is a firm, high quality stock. If you are interested in other options in card stock, please call for a quote or more information.

Q: What is your range of print sizes? Are 2x3.5 business cards as small as you go?

A: No! Our print sizes range from as small as 1.75"x 1.75" to as big as 28" x 40". Call for a quote on larger or smaller size printing jobs.

Q: What is included in the listed prices? Are there any extra costs?

A: All standard print jobs include four over four (double sided colour), printing on 12pt. stock. The listed price includes film separations, plates, color keys, and varnish. There are no hidden costs at all. You pay the listed price, plus applicable taxes.

Q: Do you offer design services as well?

A: We do not offer design services at Ultra-X-Press but we can put you in contact with several capable and reliable designers that can turn your ideas into reality. Check the Design Directory for more information.

Q: How do I get my art work to you to start the printing process?

A: After you submit your order, proceed to the Place an Order page and follow the instructions. You don’t need an FTP program. It’s that easy!

Q: When will I get my print job?

A: For most jobs, turnaround is three days. Check our print schedule for more information. For non-standard jobs, the turnaround time may be longer. Be sure to ask your sales representative for details.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with my completed print job?

A: We want you to be happy with your order. Your project will be printed in accordance with industry wide standards for colour and registration. If the quality of your cards is questionable, we will do our best to resolve the situation and keep you satisfied. Remember that we cannot take responsibility for customer errors, such as incorrect copy or poor photography. Be sure to check your proof carefully to ensure your print job comes out the best it possibly can.
